A card game to revise in class
Students love collecting. Turn your topics into cards: everyone opens Boosters, completes a chapter's Sets and trades the cards they're missing. All it takes is a spreadsheet, maybe one you already have.
Ideas by subject
- chemistry: the elements of the periodic table, with their properties as stats;
- history: figures and dates, a Set per period;
- languages: vocabulary, a family per theme;
- literature: authors and their works; geography: countries, capitals, rivers;
- life sciences: species, organs, ecosystems.
How it works in class
You prepare a Google Sheet, one row per topic, and import it. Sets follow your chapters, rarity follows difficulty. Students open a first Booster without an account, then sign up to keep their cards; trades push them to explain topics to each other.
A game closed to your class
Make the game private: only students who got its invitation link can get in (with a plan for organisations, you can also invite email addresses or your school's whole domain). Nothing can be bought in the game: no loot boxes, no ads.
Frequently asked questions
Do students need an account?
To try a Booster, no. To keep their cards, yes, with an email address. Under 15, they need a parent's permission.
Can I reuse the same game next year?
Yes: your spreadsheet stays the game's source. Change it, sync again, and the game updates.
How much does it cost?
It's free to try with a few students; for a whole class or school, see the pricing. Students never pay.
Plans and their limits are on the Pricing page.
Ready to make your game?
