Terms of use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
BoosterParty is a platform where anyone can turn their own data into a trading card game and play the games created by others. It is run by Lucas Charrier(see the legal notice). These terms apply to everyone who uses it, player or creator. Buying a plan is also governed by the terms of sale.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 15 to create an account; under 15, you need the permission of a parent or guardian.
- One account per person. Give a real email address that you can access, and keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Your username is visible to other players. It must not impersonate anyone (including the platform or its team), nor insult, threaten or discriminate.
2. Playing
- The currency, Boosters and cards of the games have no value outside the game. They can't be bought with real money, nor sold or exchanged for money or anything of value, on the platform or elsewhere.
- Cheating is forbidden: several accounts for one person, scripts or bots, exploiting a bug on purpose, collusion to rig auctions, trades or leaderboards.
- Each game belongs to its creator, who can change it, pause it, reset it or delete it. The platform does not guarantee that a game will last.
3. Creating a game
The creator chooses the data, texts and images of their game and is solely responsible for them. By publishing, the creator states that they hold the rights or permissions needed (copyright, image rights, personal data of third parties) and that the content is lawful. In particular, the following are forbidden:
- content that infringes copyright or someone's image rights, or reveals personal data about people without a legal basis;
- hateful, harassing, discriminatory, violent or terrorist content, or content inciting such acts;
- pornographic content, and any sexualised content involving minors;
- scams, phishing, impersonation, or content that misleads players;
- in a public game, shocking content that players can't expect.
So that the platform can run the game, the creator grants Lucas Charrier, free of charge, worldwide and for as long as the game is online, the non-exclusive right to host, reproduce, format (cards, resized images), display and make available to the public the content they import, solely to run and present the platform (game pages, platform home page, link previews, share images). This right ends when the game is deleted, apart from temporary technical copies and backups.
4. Reports and moderation
- Anyone can report illegal content from the report page (or the “Report” links in games). Reports are examined promptly, carefully and objectively.
- Depending on the case, the team may remove a card, take a game off the home page, suspend a game, or suspend an account. Public games appear on the home page only after a check by the team.
- Every decision is explained by email to the person concerned, and to the person who reported. You can dispute it by replying to that email or from the Help and contact page (contact-us@boosterparty.com): the decision is then reviewed by a person. You can also go to court or use any out-of-court dispute settlement body.
- Repeatedly posting illegal content, or repeatedly sending unfounded reports, may lead to the account being suspended.
5. Availability and liability
The platform is provided as it is: we do our best to keep it available and secure, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or because of an incident. As a host, Lucas Charrier is not responsible for the content imported by creators until it is made aware of its illegal nature, and then removes it promptly.
6. Personal data
See the privacy page.
7. Ending
You can delete your account at any time from My account. In case of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, the team may suspend an account, after a warning unless the breach is manifestly illegal or urgent.
8. Changes
These terms may change. Important changes are announced by email or on the platform at least 15 days before they apply.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. A consumer may bring a dispute before the courts provided for by law.
